Product Details
UPC: 465

The Ficus Tineke, with its robust and glossy foliage, is a timeless classic that adds a touch of nature's elegance to your indoor space while purifying the air. Revel in its beauty as you follow these growing instructions to ensure your Rubber Plant thrives, becoming a lush focal point in your home.

Light: Place your Ficus Tineke in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but it thrives best with moderate to bright, filtered light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.

Watering: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering. Water thoroughly, and ensure proper drainage to prevent waterlogging. In the growing season, water more frequently, and reduce watering in the winter when the plant is in a resting phase.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix. A mix formulated for tropical plants or a general-purpose potting soil works well. Repot your Rubber Plant every 1-2 years or when it outgrows its current pot.

Temperature and Humidity: Maintain a temperature range of 65-75°F (18-24°C). Ficus elastica adapts well to normal household humidity levels. Regular misting or placing a tray of water nearby can enhance humidity.

Fertilizing: Feed your Ficus Tineke with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half the recommended strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Withhold fertilizer in the winter when growth slows.

Pruning: Prune your Rubber Plant to maintain its shape and remove any yellowing or leggy growth. Regular pruning encourages a bushy and well-groomed appearance.

Common Issues:

  • Yellow Leaves: Overwatering or poor drainage may cause yellowing. Ensure proper drainage and adjust your watering routine.
  • Leaf Drop: Sudden changes in temperature or light conditions can cause leaf drop. Keep the plant in a stable environment.

Pets: Ficus Tineke is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep it out of reach of curious animals.
